Two core components of building a retail assortment are private labeling and original design manufacturing (ODM). Over the course of establishing retail strategies for hotels and destination developments, Nina knows the role these two product types have had on the overall bottom line. With an ability to articulate design concepts and manufacturing relationships in New York, Texas, Mexico, Morocco, India and China, Nina can help to plan, design, manufacture and receive items white labeled or originally designed for any retail project.  Nina has a strong aptitude and preference for jewelry design and production (both fine and costume) as she has found it is a core component of revenue for hotel gift shops, while noting that jewelry utilizes a smaller retail footprint. "When people travel, they often desire to carry a piece of the place - a momento, back home with them. Jewelry is perfect for this purpose, and when it's designed to reflect the place, the sale is an easy one. Travel is emotional, often about discovering a new place.  Therefore shopping while on that vacation, should evoke emotion and be about discovery, too."
